Ciara says I am the most confident I’ve ever been in my life as a woman, as a mom

ABC/Gilles MingassonCiara is all about “Level[ing] up” in 2021. During the pandemic, the R&B singer implemented new health and fitness goals courtesy of a brand partnership with WW, formerly Weight Watchers.

She tells USA Today, “I can say I am the most confident I’ve ever been in my life as a woman, as a mom. I’m loving my curves.”

Ciara says staying fit includes family workouts with her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, their three children and, let’s not forget the family pets.

“Sometimes Russ and I get to work out together in the midst of his crazy football schedule, which has been awesome. My kids keep me active running after them is definitely a lot of work,” she said. “And then also taking out our three Great Danes for runs.”

“I really love the feeling of being able to have my little beautiful babies run around and they’re so sweet, but I do love taking care of myself in the process,” Ciara continues. “And also not only for my babies but for my husband too – I love keeping my sexy up!”

The “Goodies” singer encourages all women to embrace their body as they work towards their fitness goals.

“Envision where you want to get to. I think it starts with you first, not anyone else’s opinions of you,” says Ciara. “I just want to encourage all my moms out there, all the women out there to embrace every step of your process on the way to achieving your goals. Don’t be too hard on yourself in the process.”

Ciara and Russell welcomed their second child, Win, in July 2020. They share 3-year-old daughter Sienna and co-parent Ciara’s six-year-old son, Future Zahir, from a previous relationship.
