Ciara takes legal action to enforce mediation with Future

by

ABC/Image Group LAThe year may be coming to a close, but Ciara and Future‘s co-parenting woes have seemingly continued.

The former celebrity couple are heading back to family court, following the R&B singer’s request for her ex to mediate an appropriate travel schedule for their son Future Jr.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ, Future has apparently failed to organize quality time with his son. Ciara’s legal team alleges that the “Mask Off” rapper either misses his scheduled visits or leaves his four-year-old under the care of his mother and grandmother.

Additionally, Ciara wants to amend the taxing travel schedule which Future Jr. has been subjected to as a means of spending time with both of his parents. The “Level Up” singer also notes that she has attempted to resolve this with her former beau, outside of the court room, but to no avail. If a judge will not grant her request for a mandatory mediation, Ciara is preparing to take the matter to a trial hearing.

As previously reported, Ciara and Future have had quite a tumultuous relationship since breaking off their engagement in 2014. Namely, their continual legal woes regarding custody and child support have been a pressing matter.
