Her producer Harmony Samuels, who calls Ciara “the female Chris Brown in the studio,” says there will be plenty more to dissect when the singer’s new album arrives.
“It was an honor to even be in the room with her,” Samuels tells That Grape Juice TV. He also adds that he was initially surprised that she requested to work with him. “Went in with her and we hit it off, first song was a smash.”
As far as what fans can expect of Ciara’s upcoming album, Jackie, the producer says she’s cooking up great material.
“The album is sounding crazy, oh my God, between me, Polow [Da Don], Dr Luke and whoever else she’s got, just the sound and the energy behind it I think it could be her best album yet, if not one of them,” Harmony says.
And in case you haven’t heard Ci Ci’s latest song, he adds: “It’s definitely going to be a shocker when you hear it. It’s not a record that you expect Ci Ci to do.”
Ciara’s sixth album will arrive this spring.
