Common Releases New Music Video for Black America Again

by

ABC/Fred LeeCommon‘s new music video for his single, “Black America Again,” opens with the image of the death of Alton Sterling, who was killed by police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in July, and goes on to feature a variety of black faces in tears along with historical images.

The song, which evokes the Black Lives Matter movement, features the vocals of Stevie Wonder

“I wish the hatin’ would stop,” Common raps.

The visual arrives following the recent deaths of Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte, North Carolina and Terence Crutcher in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
