Cory Hardrict is shutting down rumors that infidelity is what caused his wife Tia Mowry to file for divorce.
It all went down in the comments section of Hardrict’s Instagram post, when one user attempted to answer another commenter’s question about how he supposedly “fumbled” Tia.
“He cheated on her,” the Instagram user wrote, to which the All American: Homecoming actor replied, “Lies!”
Speculation of cheating on Hardrict’s part kicked in to high gear after he and Tia announced on Tuesday that they had decided to divorce after 14 years of marriage.
“I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” Mowry wrote on Instagram Tuesday, October 4.
The Sister, Sister star, who shares two children with Hardrict — 11-year-old son, Cree, and 4-year-old daughter, Cairo — added, “We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
