DALLAS COUNTY COVID-19 CASES

by

After weeks of increased COVID-19 cases in Dallas County, health officials reported a dramatic decrease in numbers. As of Tuesday, July 21st there were 734 new covid-19 cases reported for the first time fewer than 1,000 in 18 days. County Judge Clay Jenkins states; “One day does not make a trend but this is an encouraging data point.” Judge Clay Jenkins encourages Dallas to continue to wear their mask and avoid unnecessary trips so we can all continue to see a decrease in cases. Since the beginning of this pandemic Dallas alone has reported over 43,000 positive cases, and over 5oo deaths. So do your part and continue to wear your mask for all those around you!
