DALLAS TO OFFER NEW MOBILE COVID-19 TESTING SITES

Starting with prisons, Texas now has a budget of $45 million for coronavirus testing for all inmates. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice has begun widespread COVID-19 testing to track the virus among inmates. The $45 million will be for 300,000 tests, stating that for the oral swab will cost $150 each. Testing has already begun for all inmates, and employees as a new requirement. Gov. Greg Abbott has also announced the need for testing all nursing homes as a new requirement.
