Photo Credit: Jesper SkouboellingD’Angelo will be the musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
The network announced that the reclusive singer and his band The Vanguard will hit the stage during the January 31 episode, which will be hosted by actor J.K. Simmons.
The singer will showcase new material from his latest album, Black Messiah, which ended his nearly 15-year hiatus.
The upcoming performance will be D’Angelo’s first televised appearance since the record’s surprise release last month.
