Getty Images via ABCRihanna is once again bringing in the A-list talent for the third installment of her charity event, the Diamond Ball.
Dave Chappelle will host the black-tie event, scheduled for September 14 in New York City, while Kendrick Lamar will be a featured performer.
In a statement, Rihanna says, “I’m thrilled that the incomparable Dave Chappelle will kick things off as the official host of this year’s Diamond Ball and Kendrick Lamar will take the stage for an unforgettable performance.”
The Diamond Ball raises money for Rih’s Clara Lionel Foundation. She adds that she’s proud of its “significant impact in the world over the years and deeply grateful for the continued support and commitment to advancing our mission.”
The Clara Lionel Foundation, named after Rihanna’s grandparents Clara and Lionel Braithwaite, supports global education, health and emergency response programs, as funding scholarships and other education projects.
