Dennis Edwards who rose to fame as a member of the legendary Motown group The Temptations, has died.
Edwards sang lead on several of the group’s classic songs including “I Can’t Get Next To You” and “Papa Was A Rolling Stone.”
After leaving the Temptations, Edwards enjoyed success as a solo artist reaching the top of the charts in 1984 with the song “Don’t Look Any Further” which was sampled by several hip-hop artists.
Dennis Edwards would have turned 75 tomorrow.
