On Sunday, the former Destiny’s Child singer shared the news on Instagram, along with a photo of her 68-year-old dad.

“You weren’t in any pain either. The Lord took you in his arms this morning and I’m so thankful that you are resting in Him! I love you Daddy!,” Michelle concluded, sharing her father’s lifespan: Nov 13, 1952-Dec 20, 2020.

Williams received tons of supporting messages and prayer emojis in the comments from the likes of Tamar Braxton, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts, Lecrae, Yvonne OrjiJermaine Dupri and more, including Beyoncé‘s mother, Tina Lawson.
