Destiny’s Child’s “The Writing’s on the Wall” Turns 15

Image Courtesy Columbia RecordsDestiny’s Child has crossed a milestone with their sophomore album, The Writing’s on the Wall.  Today, July 28, marks its 15-year anniversary.

The project was the last album recorded by the band’s original members — Beyoncé, LaTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett and Kelly Rowland — and included many of their number one-hits like “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name.”

The album would go on to become the band’s best-selling set to date, moving 6.4 million units in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
