Kevin Winter/Getty Images for CoachellaReports by TMZ that Beyoncé bought a church in New Orleans are false, according to the Curbed New Orleans website.

TMZ announced that Queen Bey had purchased a 7,500 square foot house of worship in The Big Easy that’s over 100 years old and was listed at $850,000.

Curbed New Orleans reports that the property was actually purchased by a friend of Beyoncé’s family, Vernell Jackson Keys, who bought the church for the Noble Jones Trust.

According to the New Orleans Advocate, the First Christian Church In New Orleans and Seventh & Camp Church of Christ located at 2930 Camp Street was sold to the trust for $100.
