Did SZA hint at a surprise Coachella performance with Cardi B?

by

SZA, ABC/Randy Holmes; Cardi B, Jora FrantzisCan you imagine SZA and Cardi B performing side-by-side at Coachella?

TMZ caught up with SZA in Los Angeles to ask if that dream could turn into a reality. Her answer? “That would be gnarly. I would be honored.”

The “Drew Barrymore” singer added that she couldn’t “confirm on her [Cardi B’s] set,” as that wouldn’t be fair.

However, fans headed to Coachella might want to prepare themselves for the possibility of a SZA/Cardi B onstage collaboration.

Not only are they’re both on the bill for Coachella, which kicks off today in Indio, California, but SZA’s featured on Cardi’s song “I Do” from her debut album, Invasion of Privacy

SZA also gave her thoughts on the rumored beef between Cardi and Nicki Minaj in regard to their features on Migos’ “Motorsport.”

Thursday, Nicki wrote a tweet that some fans took as a diss toward Cardi, regarding their verses on the hit track.

“How can you say someone changed their verse & forget to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) & Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request?” Nicki tweeted.

“So how were those changed gonna happen if I didn’t “change” my verses?”

“You consider that a feud or is that outside influence and opinion?” SZA responded.

She continued, “I see two women doing their best and championing themselves. I don’t really see any ill words being spread on either side…I think they’re doing just fine.”

“They’re grown women and they’re very empowering. Very capable.”
