DISNEY WORLD OPENS AND COVID-19 CASES INCREASE

by

Disney tried to prove it could remain safe, and reopen its doors during the coronavirus pandemic. Thousands of happy visitors took a trip to Florida, hoping to still get the same experience, though many attractions remained closed to help with social distancing. In just one day more than 15,000 new infections were reported making that a new record. Disney will not say how many people it let inside, but the grounds did not seem crowded. After just reopening on June 24th, many time slots for July were already booked, as a new system Disney World will only let people pay online upon arrival with a timeslot, no longer allowing visitors to walk up and buy tickets.
