Donnie McClurkin tells fans he’s been hospitalized after passing out while driving

by

ABC/Image Group LADonnie McClurkin is thanking God for another major blessing.

In a Facebook post Thursday, the “We Fall Down” singer revealed that he’s currently in the hospital after a surviving a car crash.

“Was in a serious accident at 12:50 am this morning…passed out while driving on the highway. Totaled the car…hospitalized, going through a myriad of tests…But I’m alive!” he wrote, captioning a photo of himself in a hospital bed.

He then shared how two “human angels” helped him.

“Lost consciousness driving…but two human angels followed my swerving car with their emergency blinkers onto [sic] stop traffic ….drove behind me until my car crashed into the middle concrete island,” he continued. “I remember none of it except those two angels pulling me out of the passengers side of the crumbled TOTALED car..airbags deployed…crushed metal and Fiberglas [sic]!! I AM ALIVE!!!!”

After sharing his testimony, the pastor then revealed that he only suffered minor injuries.

“Somewhat mangled, stitches on left thumb, sprained wrist, hurt knee, but I’m still here!,” he wrote. “God and two angels saved my life! I owe them…I am still here by the grace of God! Thank you, Lord…thank you!”

It is unclear what caused McClurkin to pass out, but this hasn’t been the first health scare for the singer. In June, he revealed that he had to have precancerous tissue removed from his vocal cords.

“It is not throat cancer,” he told fans in a video. “They want to make sure that it’s not. It is precancerous scar tissue, the beginning stages. They want to ensure that it’s not cancerous, so we’re going to do tests. So, keep me in your prayers.”
