Drake and JAY-Z unite in Detroit; Drake releases new tour merchandise

Shareif Ziyadat/FilmMagicMotown was the scene of a superstar meeting Monday night:  JAY-Z and Drake united when the On the Run II tour arrived in Detroit.

Hova and Drizzy can be seen embracing in a video posted by the Drake fan site, Word on Road. The two stars also posed for a photo taken by Roc Nation executive Lenny S.  JAY-Z is featured on the song “Talk Up” on Drake’s latest album .Scorpion.

It was an off night for Drake’s tour with Migos, so while Drake was hanging with JAY, Quavo and Offsetjoined DJ Khaled as surprise guests during his set opening for Jay-Z and Beyonce at Ford Field, according to Billboard. 

Quavo, who’s featured on Khaled’s “I’m The One,” dropped a verse from that song, while Offset offered a taste of his track with Metro Boomin, “Ric Flair Drip.”   

Drake and Migos will perform on their Aubrey and the Three Migos tour Tuesday and Wednesday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.  

Their tour finally kicked off Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri following several delays. Drake just released a tour merchandise line with 21 pieces, including T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and caps.
