Drake breaks Beatles record with seven of the top ten songs on Billboard Hot 100

Republic RecordsDrake continues to make history as he simultaneously holds seven of the top ten songs on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record of five set by The Beatles in 1964.

His new Scorpion album is number one after setting the all-time one week streaming record with over 745 million streams. All seven of Drake’s current top ten songs are from Scorpion.

The Toronto rapper posted an image of the top ten on Instagram with the comment, “All 7’s…”

“Nice For What” returns to number one for its eighth total week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Drizzy now has a 31 top ten songs in his career, passing Michael Jackson for the most among male solo artists. Ironically, Jackson adds his 30th top-10 due to being sampled on Drake’s “Don’t Matter to Me,” which debuts on the chart at number nine.

Drake is now tied with Rihanna for third place on the list of most career Billboard Hot 100 top-ten hits. Madonna leads with 38, followed by The Beatles with 34.

Drake also has 27 songs now on the Hot 100, including all 25 tracks from Scorpion, breaking his own record for the most songs simultaneously on the chart.
