Drake on Former Minneapolis Cop’s Lawyer Trying to Justify George Floyd’s Death: ‘This Is Foul to Watch’

by

Drake called out the lawyer who is representing one of the former Minneapolis police officers in the death of George Floyd.  Attorney Earl Gray, who appeared on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time, says that bystanders should have intervened if Floyd was in such a dire situation.   “Thomas Lane lawyer struggling through an ATTEMPT to justify this situation live on television…can’t even decide how to defend his client. this shit is foul to watch,” Drake wrote on Instagram Stories.  Cuomo also criticized Gray asking, “…the idea that the civilians should have rushed into a policing situation in the inner city of Minneapolis against four police officers that have weapons and are kneeling on the neck of a man — don’t you think that’s asking a little much of civilians and a too little of your client?” “Absolutely. I’m not, I just brought that up,” says Gray as he seemed to back off his original statement.  What do you think? Should civilians intervene when they see police acting unjustly against someone?
