Burak Cingi/RedfernsThe Drake tour featuring Migos was scheduled to kick off tonight in Kansas City, but for the second time, the tour start has been delayed.
“Due to production issues, Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour is postponing the Kansas City date,” the Sprint Center in Kansas City tweeted. “Tonight’s show at Sprint Center is rescheduled for Sunday, August 12. All tickets will be honored for the new dates.”
The St. Paul, Minnesota show was originally set for Sunday. The city’s Xcel Energy Center issued a statement saying that the show is being postponed “due to production issues,” with “a new date soon to be announced.”
The Aubrey and the Three Migos tour was originally scheduled to begin July 26 in St. Lake City, but was postponed. A Drake spokesperson explained at the time, “In order to deliver the high standard tour experience our fans expect and deserve, we have made the necessary decision to slightly adjust the beginning of the Aubrey and the Three Migos tour schedule.”
This second postponement comes after Drake’s tour bus was reportedly towed away Thursday morning from a Kansas City hotel parking lot.
