Drake has won his latest battle with Kanye West, as Certified Lover Boy knocks Donda from the number one position on the Billboard 200 album chart.

CLB sold 613,000 units, for the biggest week for an album this year. Donda sold 309,000 units in its debut week and drops to number two this week, with 141,00 units sold.

This is Drizzy’s 10th number-one album, tying him with Kanye. Only eight artists have ten or more albums that have topped the Billboard 200. The Beatles have the most number ones, with 19, followed by Jay-Z, who has 14. Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand each have 11 number ones, while Drake, West, Eminem, and Elvis Presley have 10.

Certified Lover Boy also received 714 million on-demand audio streams in its first week. Only one album has ever scored a larger streaming week for on-demand audio streams: Drake’s own Scorpion, with 746 million in 2018.

The follow-up to Drake’s five-times-platinum Scorpion album includes 21 tracks. The star-studded project features Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Future, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, 21 Savage and many more.

The Champagne Papi is also still celebrating receiving eight BET Hip Hop Awards nominations, including Hip Hop Artist of the year. The honors will be presented Tuesday, October 5, on BET.
