Brandon XayGet ready! Grammy-winning singer Ella Mai will leave you tripping over her performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest next week.
The announcement came from a video on the show’s Twitter page, which quoted lyrics from her single, “Trip,” tweeting, “got me trippin’ on you.” The video features clips from the music video for Ella’s latest single, “Not Another Love Song,” which was released in October. “Trip” was featured on Ella’s self-titled debut in 2018, which was nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Album.
Ella Mai joins the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve star-studded line-up of performers including Megan Thee Stallion, country singer Jimmie Allen, Machine Gun Kelly, Miley Cyrus, and headliner Jennifer Lopez., who will perform just before the ball drops on the East Coast. The 49th annual show will offer more than five hours of performances in all.
Ciara hosts the party on the West Coast from Los Angeles, while Seacrest will be joined by Pose actor Billy Porter and Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale to co-host the NYC celebration.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will begin airing on December 31 at 8 p.m. ET. on ABC.
