Imagine if hurtful words were actual bullets. That’s the message Emeli Sandé conveys in the visual for to her new single, “My Kind of Love,” which was remixed by RedOne and Alex P.
The Scottish singer, who is scheduled to perform the cut on Katie on September 13, reminds us to be mindful of the gravity that our words can have in the Sanji Senaka-directed clip.
The revamped song is one of five bonus tracks that will appear on a new, expanded edition of her 2012 album, Our Version of Events, due out on October 8. The album’s release coincides with the three-time BRIT Award winner’s upcoming North American tour, kicking off on October 11 in Miami and wrapping on October 26 in Chicago.
