During the coronavirus pandemic, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Eminem have partnered together in donating $1 million to help support residents in Detroit. Eminem, who grew up near Detroit, made an announcement to donate $250,000 stating; he had a few areas he’s like to help take of. While hearing this great new, CEO Jack Dorsey of Twitter announced to match him by donating $750,000. Michigan has become one of the hardest states being hit with the coronavirus these last couple of months with more than 45,000 confirmed cases. All donations were made out to Marshall Mathers Foundation, which is committed to supporting youths in Detroit.
