Courtesy of Eric BellingerR&B singer Eric Bellinger shares a feel-good love song, “Flotus,” from his upcoming album Eric B for President: Term 3.
This catchy bop is definitely for the ladies but serves as an ode to his wife LaMyia Good-Bellinger, who also stars in the song’s music video.
Between her glamorous photoshoots, LaMyia captures the essence of a confident, independent woman that Bellinger finds incredibly irresistible.
This is a “full-circle moment for” Eric and Lamiya, who played his leading lady in “The 1st Lady” music video in 2014 before they married in 2015. “She’s my queen, and she makes everything better,” says Eric in a press release.
“Flotus” marks the third single from his upcoming album, Eric B for President: Term 3.
“I started off my campaign by letting you know I’m the man for the job,” Eric says. “I’m feeling confidant, bold, and ‘Godly,’ and I’m looking for the right woman on ‘Solo’n.’ I’m running for office, and I can’t do it without my ‘Flotus.'”
Term 3 follows Optimal Music, an album collaboration with longtime friend Nieman Johnson, which debuted in April featuring Young Thug, Jeremih, Joe Moses, and more. Eric started his President album series in 2016 and followed up with Term 2 in 2017.
Eric B for President: Term 3, inspired by the romantic love story between Eric Bellinger and his wife, arrives October 30.
