Dan MartensenThere is only one song that is the United Kingdom’s longest-running single in 22 years — and that is Drake‘s “One Dance.”
Billboard reports that the chart banger is on its 12th week at the top of the U.K. singles chart. No other song has done this in the past 22 years. Reportedly, the last tune to stay at the number one spot on the U.K. singles chart was Wet Wet Wet’s “Love Is All Around,” in 1994, for 15 weeks.
Drake is currently enjoying the success of his fourth studio album release, Views, which remains at the number one spot on the United States Billboard 200 chart, since the week of May 21.
Drake is hitting the road with fellow rapper Future on their “Summer Sixteen Tour” this summer into the fall season.
