FACEBOOK GROUP GIVES BACK TO RESIDENTS DURING PANDEMIC

A Facebook group by the name “A Taste of Irving” are leading to giving out free gift cards from local restaurants to help people in need during this pandemic. This group started the “ Project Give Back” in mid April to help people impacted by the coronavirus and any frontline workers by getting fresh-cooked meals via gift cards from local restaurants. This group began with only $500 and had grown to over $5,000 with donations with people all over willing give back during this time. So far this group has helped over 100 individuals and families.
