Could one of our favorite TV nerds be making his way back to the small screen … as an adult?
Word has it that a reboot of the popular sitcom Family Matters is being discussed.
Darius McCrary, the actor who played young Eddie Winslow on the 90s family sitcom told ESSENCE during pre-Emmy Awards activity that he and Jaleel White ( who played the iconic Steve Urkel) have been talking about it.
Apparently the former Family Matters house Chicago has been torn down, but there’s also talk of having it rebuilt for a second run of the show.
During the popular show, The Winslow family deals with many mishaps … many of them caused by their pesky next-door neighbor, ultra-nerd Steve ‘Did I do that?’ Urkel.
With successful reboots of other popular sitcoms, it may come to fruition.
