Frank Micelotta/FOXAfter South African beauty Zozibini Tunzi won the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday night, fans have been reacting to the news that Tunzi is now the fourth black woman this year to win a major beauty pageant title.

Tunzi joins Miss USA winner Cheslie Kryst, Miss Teen USA winner Kaliegh Garris, and Nia Franklin, who was crowned Miss America.

“#BlackGirlMagic Represent ladies! So proud!,” tweeted one fan.

“Salute to Black Excellence,” another fan tweeted. “Now everybody knows it!!”

One fan shared that they were relishing in the rare moment.

“Omg they ain’t going to never let this happen again,” wrote the fan. “I’m taking it in #RepresentationMatters.”

Tunzi, who’s the third South African to hold the Miss Universe title, is a 26-year-old public relations professional and an activist against gender-based violence.  She told reporters she’s excited to represent for the younger generation.

“Society has been programmed for a very long time that never saw beauty in a way that was black girl magic, but now we are slowing moving to a time where women like myself can finally find a place in society, can finally know they’re beautiful,” Tunzi said.
