First Week Album Sales Projections: Drake’s “Nothing Was the Same”

by

Facebook.com/DrakeWhoa. Drake‘s newly released album, Nothing Was the Same, is on pace to debut with massive first-week sales based on industry forecasts.

According to Hits Daily Double, Drizzy’s third studio effort is projected to open with sales of 675,000 to 725,000 copies. These impressive figures undoubtedly would lead to the album bowing at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.  The feat would make the album Drake’s third consecutive chart-topper.  It follows his 2011 sophomore set Take Care, which sold 631,000 copies in its opening week.

If the sales estimates are correct, the Canadian rap star would score the second biggest debut of the year, after Justin Timberlake, whose album The 20/20 Experience opened with 968,000 units sold in March.
