FKA Twigs, Santigold, Jill Scott and more tapped for Afropunk 2019

While Scott has been tapped to headline this year’s festivities, alongside Kamasi Washington, the lineup also boasts appearances from Danny BrownToro Y MoiTierra WhackLeon BridgesRico NastyJ.I.DGoldlink and more. 

In addition to its stacked performers list, Afropunk will also be revisiting its annual Battle of the Bands, the Spin Thrift Market and a series of panels titled “Solution Sessions.” 

The festival organizers have also announced that they’ll be continuing their community service initiative, Afropunk Army, which gives fans the chance to earn tickets to the festival through volunteer work. The program is expected to launch in May.
