Over the summer, Frank Ocean cancelled the remaining dates of his Australian tour due to a small vocal cord tear.  Now, the singer has announced via his official Tumblr page that he’s officially “back to work.

In post called “Stay True,” Frank says that his “mind is pretty blank right now,” describes himself as he sits in his kitchen listening to New Order‘s 1983 hit “Age of Consent,” and adds that he never knew Andre 3000 played keyboard on Gwen Stefani‘s song “Cool.”

“I used my birthday week pass to stay in my apartment for too long.. sit still and catch up on some information,” Frank writes before listing the movies and TV shows he watched — including Dexter, Breaking Bad, This is the End and Bottle Rocket — as well as the books he read — The New Jim Crow and Mr. Norris Changes Trains.

Naturally, he saved the most important update for last. “[I]’m back to work these days,” he concludes.  The singer’s upcoming project will follow last year’s Grammy-winning album, Channel Orange.
