Frank Ocean to Perform Live for First Time in Two Years

by

Josh Brasted/WireImageFrank Ocean is hitting the road for the first time since 2014.

The Blonde artist will perform next summer at two festivals: Denmark’s Northside Festival and London’s Lovebox Festival, says Rolling Stone

Additional live concert dates from the star are unknown at this time.

Blonde was Ocean’s first full-length studio project release since his 2012 album, channel ORANGE.  That disc won the singer/songwriter a a Grammy award for Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2013.

Ocean recently told The New York Times that he did not submit his music from Blonde for consideration for next year’s Grammy awards because the institution “doesn’t seem to be representing very well for people who come from where I come from.”

He added that he thinks “the infrastructure of the awarding system and the nomination system and screening system is dated.”
