Steve Granitz/WireImageMichael Jackson and Janet Jackson‘s 1995 hit, “Scream,” and its accompanying music video are surely irreplaceable. But, as seen on the official Michael Jackson Twitter account, a secret Halloween-themed project of the same name appears to be in the works.
John Branca, who’s the co-executor of the late icon’s estate, told Variety at the Venice Film Festival on Monday that “two more announcements are coming up in the next couple of weeks,” although he didn’t say exactly what they would be.
Branca added, “Michael had an expression: ‘The quality goes in before the name goes on.’ So we are not ready to announce them yet.”
Branca did, however, confirm to the publication that he doesn’t “foresee us releasing any more unreleased music for quite some time,” but adds that “interesting [new] record releases in the very near future” are a possibility.
A 3D version of Michael’s groundbreaking 1983 Thriller video premiered at the Venice Film Festival on Monday.
Although there’s no word on exactly when it’ll happen, word is we’ll all get to see the 3D version of the video sometime in the near future.
