H.E.R. will be performing at the 2019 Grammys

Sue KwonThe Grammys continues to up the ante: Even more artists have been announced to perform at the biggest night in music. R&B newcomer H.E.R. is one of the latest stars to be recruited for the CBS telecast.

Thursday morning, the Recording Academy revealed that the “Best Part” vocalist would be joining the likes of Miley Cyrus and Brandi Carlile as the newest additions to the already stacked lineup. It’ll be H.E.R.’s Grammy debut.

The Academy also vowed that there will an “unforgettable Grammy moment” when the Red Hot Chili Peppers join Post Malone onstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10. 

H.E.R. celebrated the career milestone via Instagram with her fans. “I’m so excited to be performing at this year’s #GRAMMYs,” she captioned a photo of herself performing at a recent concert. 

The 21-year-old has scored an impressive five Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year for her self-titled compilation EP, and Best New Artist. 

The news of the second wave of performers follows the previously announced list of acts slated to play the show. They include Cardi BJanelle Monáe, Camila Cabello and more.
