Many different industries have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and one that’s especially seeing the ramifications of the pandemic is the sportsbooks and casino industry. In Atlantic City, for instance, all nine of their casinos suffered losses of 46 percent which also happens to be the largest decline they’ve seen in 42 years. New Jersey didn’t fare as bad as other states, but Indiana was hit hard. Indiana casinos lost 55 percent in revenue compared to their numbers from last year and only cleared $98 million.
