“Hotline Bling”: Drake receives custom-made Toronto Raptors NBA championship ring

by

Republic RecodsTuesday was “Hotline Bling” night for Drake as the Toronto Raptors’ official global ambassador received a custom-made NBA championship ring when the team opened the 2019-2020 season at home at Scotiabank Arena.

Drizzy’s 30-carat ring, which he designed with Jason of Beverly Hills, is adorned with his nickname, “The Boy.” The four-time Grammy winner was also presented with the official team ring that he also helped design, according to the Toronto Star. It includes 74 diamonds, representing each of the team’s wins from the past season. It also features 16 rubies and is the largest championship ring ever made.

Drake captioned a photo of the two rings with the comment, “We Major.”

In June, the Raptors became the first Canadian team to ever win the NBA title by defeating the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
