Warner Bros.Thanks to a new online auction, you, too, can be the Queen of the Night — if you’ve got 10 grand.
Whitney Houston‘s “Queen of the Night” costume from the smash 1992 movie The Bodyguard is going up for grabs this weekend at ScreenUsed.com. The minimum bid is $10,000. The outfit, which Whitney’s character, Rachel Marron is seen wearing several times in the movie, is also what the character is shown wearing in the iconic poster image of Kevin Costner carrying her.
As the name of the auction site suggests, the costume isn’t in perfect shape: there are some beads and chrome balls missing, and there are holes from the scene in which Rachel is attacked on stage.
The auction goes live on August 25 at 10 a.m. PT.
