by

ABC/Randy HolmesThe trailer for Chris Brown‘s recently announced documentary, Welcome to My Life, is out, and in it Brown says he “felt like a f****** monster,” after his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Announcing that “this is the first time I get to say anything” in the two-and-a-half minute clip, Brown says of the period after the assault,  “I was thinking about suicide, I wasn’t sleeping, I barely ate, I was just getting high.”

“I went from being on top of the world, number-one songs, being kind of like America’s sweetheart, to being public enemy number one,” Chris says.

The trailer, which also features comments from Usher, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled and Jamie Foxx, among others, concludes with Brown saying, “If there was ever a doubt in your mind Chris Brown was done, he was finished, I wouldn’t bet on it.”

The release date for the documentary has yet to be announced.
