Bell Biv Devoe and Lady Antebellum; ABC/Randy HolmesIt looks like Bell Biv Devoe is looking to recreate music magic with country group Lady Antebellum, but this time in the studio.
TMZ recently caught up with BBD member Ricky Bell, who stated in a clip that both parties talked about doing another collaboration.
Both trios appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday night to form Lady AnteBell Biv DeVoe, mixing up BBD’s 1990 smash “Poison” with Lady Antebellum’s 2010 multi-platinum, multi-Grammy winning hit “Need You Now” for a mashup performance.
“We actually talked about doing a collaboration, ’cause our names fit so well together — Lady AnteBell Biv DeVoe. It just flows right,” he said in a clip.
“We’re thinking about doing it. We’re just trying to figure out if we’re gonna go all the way their style or our style, but we’re gonna try to make the two meet some way,” he added.
Bell Biv Devoe’s first album in 16 years, Three Stripes, is out now.
