Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images for Women In FilmIssa Rae received the first Women in Film Emerging Entrepreneur Award Wednesday night in Los Angeles, and the Insecure star comically went on an ego trip while accepting the honor.

Rae told the audience that because women are usually too humble about their accomplishments, she was going to flip the script and humorously say the opposite of what she would normally say.

“You future h**es need to bow down! I’m closing all the doors behind me, so if you didn’t make it in, oops, your bad,” she then told the crowd, according to Deadline.

“’Entrepreneur’ means I did my sh** by myself,” Rae added.

The 34-year-old-actress/writer/producer currently has multiple projects in development. Fresh from filming her latest film, The Photograph with Courtney B. Vance, Rae will star in the upcoming comedy The Lovebirds and then work on her two upcoming shows: Sweet Life, about an affluent black teen, and Him or Her, a half-hour comedy which will chronicle the dating life of a bisexual black man.
