It’s Been One Year Today Since Bobbi Kristina Brown Passed Away

by

Shareif Ziyadat/FilmMagicToday marks the one year anniversary of the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, sole daughter of late Whitney Houston. The pair shared a strong mother-daughter bond and eerily died in similar ways — both were found unconscious in a bathtub of water. However, Brown spent almost seven months in a coma before passing away last July.

Brown spent her early years in the limelight alongside her mother and father, Bobby Brown. The family starred in the short-lived reality show, Being Bobby Brown, which gave viewers an inside look into the stormy marriage of Whitney and Bobby. Eventually, Bobbi Kristina grew up following in her mom’s career footsteps as a singer. In 2009, Bobbi performed with her mother at a Good Morning America concert in New York City’s Central Park, singing Houston’s famous single, “My Love is Your Love.” She also made several videos singing cover versions of hit songs.

Brown was 22 years old at the time of her death.
