On the Natural Born Tour, the rapper and R&B singer will look to duplicate the musical magic they made on hit singles such as “Always On Time,” “What’s Luv?” and “Mesmerize” in concert. Rule tweeted a picture of the two and wrote “NATURAL BORN HITTERS TOUR!!!” on his Twitter page this Thursday.
Many of Rule and Ashanti’s collaborative singles climbed the Billboard charts in the early 2000s — “Always on Time” peaked at number one on the Hot 100 in 2002, “Mesmerize” made number two spot on the Hot 100 chart in 2003 and “Wonderful” peaked on the Hot Rap Songs chart at number two in 2004.
The 11-date tour will begin on August 25 at New York City’s Playstation Theater and make its way to major cities such as Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale now and here are the dates:
