(KRNB) – Janelle Monae took part in a recent Obama Foundation conversation about community service.
The talented actress/singer, who happens to be very community minded herself, interviewed members of the foundation’s Community Leadership Corps members Anna Dong and Danny Flores on how their communities have helped them find their voices.
At the end of the near 20-minute session, Monae said that each person has the ability to make a difference, and that each one person must follow their “inner compass” to determine the best path toward serve.
