Janelle Monae releases new single I Like That

Atlantic RecordsJanelle Monae‘s new single, “I Like That,” is the smooth-sounding follow-up to her sexy track “Pynk,” and its music video.  

“I Like That” was released Sunday night and features self-empowering lyrics and a soothing tone.

She sings, “A little crazy, little sexy, little cool/Little rough around the edges but I keep it smooth/I’m always left of center and that’s right where I belong/I’m the random minor note you hear in major songs/And I like that.” 

Janelle hasn’t released a music video for “I Like That,” but fans can check out the track in its entirety on YouTube now.
