Amazon StudiosJanelle Monáe has officially taken the reins from season one star Julia Roberts in the new teaser-trailer for Amazon Prime Video’s Homecoming.
In the season two promo, Monáe’s character is seen waking up in a rowboat adrift on a lake, with seemingly no memory of how she got there. According to Amazon, Monáe’s “search for identity will lead her into the heart of the Geist Group, the unconventional wellness company behind the Homecoming Initiative.”
Monáe joins season-one stars Stephan James and Hong Chau, in addition to new characters portrayed by Chris Cooper and Joan Cusack.
Homecoming season two premieres May 22 on Amazon Prime Video.
