Jennifer Hudson is preparing a performance for Pope Francis, who is scheduled to visit New York City later this month.
The Archdiocese of New York announced that Hudson is among the many entertainers that will take stage at Madison Square Garden on September 25 ahead of a mass being officiated by the Pope. Gloria Estefan will also take partin the program, which is being called “A Journey in Faith.”

Pope Francis will be traveling along the East Coast during his first trip to the United States from September 22 to September 27.
