Jhene Aiko not only held her own in Omarion‘s latest single, “Post to Be,” which features Chris Brown, but she arguably stole the show with her memorable, raunchy one-liner: “I might let your boy chauffeur me, but he gotta eat the booty like groceries.”

While explaining her verse, the singer joined MTV News for a visit to a local grocery store. “It was a fun song. I wanted my part to be funny and unexpected and ironically ‘groceries’ rhymes with ‘post to be’ and so it works,” the singer says.

She adds that she’s glad her verse took people off guard and clarifies that it’s not a mandatory act. “That’s the thing about me, you never really know what I’m gonna say. And though I say, ‘you gotta,’ you don’t, you don’t gotta. You don’t have to, it’s optional. It’s not everyone’s thing, I get it,” she explained.

“Post to Be” currently sits at #5 on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
