Republic RecordsThere were rumors flying that Drake dined last week in Washington D.C, with the daughter of Grammy award winning producer Jimmy Jam, however the 18-year old model says it never happened.
Bella Harris, who is signed to Elite Model Management, wrote on Instagram, “Coming off an amazing New York fashion week, I feel I need to set the record straight… I did not dine in DC recently. I was happily working & dining in NYC everyday.”
According to E! News, Drake closed down the RPM Italian restaurant in the nation’s capital to dine with Bella on September 10, and then returned with her and friends the next night. Drake performed with Migos on September 12 and 13 in D.C.
Bella’s father, Jimmy Jam, began his career as a member of Prince’s group, The Time. Along with his partner, Terry Lewis, they wrote and produced many of Janet Jackson’s hits, as well as also working with Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Usher, Boyz II Men, New Edition, and many more stars.
