ABC/Randy HolmesR&B stars were called on to pay tribute to legendary vocalist Frank Sinatra to celebrate what would have been the late singer’s 100th birthday during the CBS special Sinatra 100 — An All-Star Grammy Concert.

John Legend and Jamie Foxx were among the performers at the Wynn Las Vegas Encore Theater, where Usher kicked off the evening by performing the Sinatra classic “That’s Life.” Alicia Keys showcased “I’ve Got a Crush on You,” Legend performed “Young at Heart” and Foxx delivered “In the Wee Small Hours.” There’s also a performance from Sam Smith, who presented his contribution via video.

“He had the aura, he had the talent, he had it all,” says John Legend of Sinatra, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year. “I love this kind of music and I’ve always loved it and I’ve always sung it over the years.”

Sinatra was born December 12, 1915, and died in May 1998 at age 82.  The two-hour telecast of Sinatra 100 — An All-Star Grammy Concert will air on CBS on Sunday, December 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
